Nina's Taqueria
Family food from the heart!
One of my most vivid memories of my mother was when I was in high school studying at our dining room table. My mother would be busy in the kitchen making tacos for my Papi to take to his job at the factory the next day. I can still hear the clicking of her nails on the aluminum as she would count off two..four...six. Eventually she went from 10 tacos to 100 tacos. Everytime she would get to the end of her count, she would ask me, "Mari, if I ever open a restaurant, do you think people would like my food?" I would always say, "Yes, mami, people would love your food."
That was in 1990. Now, two restaurants and one market later. I can look at my mom and say, "See mami, people do love your food!"
It all started with tacos, the beautiful dreams of a woman born in Reynosa, Mexico, the sacrifice of a loving husband and father and the devotion of three daughters. We are so grateful that you are part of our American Dream come true. We hope you love the friendly atmosphere, the fabulous food and most importantly our phenomenal Nina's family.
Muchas gracias,
